The Root Teachings of HÜMÜH

HÜMÜH: Transcendental Buddhism = Ati-Yoga. Ati-Yoga is known in Buddhism as The Great Perfection. Buddhism means Path to Awakening. A Buddhist is one who walks that Path; whereas, a Buddha-Wisdom Master is an awakened consciousness. There is a past, present, and future lineage of awakened consciousness referred to as The Trans-Historical Consciousness. Sakyamuni manifested the Teachings of Buddhism, the Clear-Light Primordial Teachings, in India in 500 B.C. Padmasambhava brought the same Clear-Light Primordial Teachings to Tibet in the 8th century, some 1400 years later. The Buddhism of both Sakyamuni and Padmasambhava was Pure Buddhism, Buddhism without the adornments of the limiting contrivances of ritual and traditions.

After the death of these Great Masters, hierarchies formed to invent systems for teaching, which eventually led to the adaptation of habitually performed rituals that developed as traditions, and these were continued in the conversion of these Teachings into a religion, which spread across the globe.

The Wisdom Master has restored the Pure Buddhist Teachings of Sakyamuni, Padmasambhava and Ati-Yoga by founding HÜMÜH and infusing the Root-Primordial Teachings into HÜMÜH’s Dogma, Doctrine and Protocols.

The Dogma of
HÜMÜH Transcendental Buddhism
Jeweled Path of Living Wisdom

I

The Wisdom Master is a living, awakened embodiment of the Trans-Historical Consciousness. It is the Wisdom Master's task to awaken others to the existence of their natural (non-contrived) state, so they can abide in life from that awakened place in consciousness.

II

HÜMÜH exists as a vehicle for the Wisdom Master to express the Primordial Teachings.

III

'Skycliffe' and HÜMÜH Meditation and Retreat Centers exist as central teaching arenas and places where the Ati-Yoga Teachings can be seen as they are put into practice; however, any place in which the Wisdom Master may abide is also a central place.

Doctrine

There are three realities:

1) The VOID is both non-existent, and existent within the past, present and future.

2) The non-existent or formless VOID that abides within the past, present and future is the Pure Light Consciousness that is expressed through Third-Eye Vision as Super-Cognizance or Awareness of Being Aware (overlapping awareness), as taught in Ati-Yoga.

3) The existent or form of the VOID is the movement of Pure-Light Consciousness, which expresses Life through an animation that results from karma and/or memory mobilized by feelings. Thus, movement brings about the illusion of time, as taught in Ati-Yoga.

Existent VOID, that which we call Life, reflects the union of time we refer to as NOW. NOW, which is synonymous with space, converts a composition of past, present, and future circumstances into memories, which reflect present-day situations into karma and environmental imagery, as taught in Ati-Yoga.

Purity/Impurity - lack of purity of circumstances in life are defined by the quality of karma or memory reflecting from individuals, or groups of individuals projecting similar desires and ideas. Purity denotes the existence of Primordial reality, a state of non-contrivance. All life is memory: Mind is a container of memory-imagery expressed from personal and group karma, and the environment is ornamented from the original seeds of these karmas, hanging in space. As taught in Ati-Yoga.

All things seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or felt are products of mind, and its imagery, which are bits and pieces of various arrangements of memory reflected as ornaments in space. As our senses become altered from their natural state by unconscious repetition, familiarity sets in; then, what is remembered feels changed, because familiarity is the breeder of feelings. Thus, from feelings, we deviate from naturalness and become unnatural or fabricated through which fear manifests. Such is the nature of illusion and the dramatic play we call life. Thus, past imagery replicates the present, out of which the future arises, as taught in Ati-Yoga.

Death is a memory (karma)-related continuum constructed from life that leads the consciousness into rebirth in a likeness of the karma accumulated.

True love or spiritual love is unconditional. The expression of unconditional love is compassion, which is freely existing, and all-pervasive, as taught in Ati-Yoga.

The central power of Realized Existence is Third Eye Vision, which brings about a state of Super-Cognizance, whereby the viewer, divinity or Buddha nature, can witness the play of memory and mind for the purpose of functioning independently from habit. When gestures, words, and actions are no longer unconsciously habitual, one enters an arena of all-seeing, all-pervasive liberation. It is here that Logic-Dharma provides an overview of all life scenarios, as taught in Ati-Yoga.

Three Golden Spiraling Ati-Yoga Circles of HÜMÜH

1. The Outer Ati-Yoga Circle – The dreamtime or mind Teachings, which ultimately brings about the development of an equable state of mind.

2. The Inner Ati-Yoga Circle – The space or phenomena Teachings, concerned with the development of a living, dynamic state free of distractions. This is the principal, essential focus to live a meditative existence.

3. The Secret Ati-Yoga Circle – The transference from ordinary consciousness to primordial consciousness.

1. The Outer Ati-Yoga Circle matures as the initiation realization that whatever may arise or appear in one’s life is merely an impression of one’s own mental condition and state of existence as well as reliance and non-reliance on others. Apart from the organized and structured state of existence, which we identify as the environment or aspect of the world, we can obtain nothing unless our mental images are in harmony with the various orchestrations of material phenomena already in existence. It is this condition of mental harmonics that allows us to liberate and establish other variations of existing phenomena (materiality or conditions).

Moreover, everything that appears and exists always arises spontaneously, already self-perfected. Anything that is or has been added to spontaneously arising matter, is done so by mental dreaming, and is, therefore, nothing more than an elaboration or ornament on the original, primordial impression. Such ornaments are the musings from sentient life forms’ karmic imprints.

This information is based on the following Ati-Yoga Teachings:

  • Karmic imprints of sentient life forms, particularly from the cognizance of human beings, are liberated or freed into existence by the karma or view of the living being that reflected them.

  • The primordial awareness inherent in the Awakened or Buddha Consciousness consists of the non-dual knowledge that exists within the immediate, intrinsic Awareness found within every individual sentient life.

  • Intrinsic Awareness is beyond all conceptions, which means that it is both uncreated and unconditional, meaning it is fostered by pure consciousness, rather than an individual intellect's ideas and karma.

  • One discovers this unique state as being aware of self without there being subject and object, a oneself and another person, or a state that brings about duality, which makes ‘self’ seen as interior awareness and ‘others’ as exterior awareness.

  • In this state, one sees that anger is ignited by being recognized as anger, as in searching for an origin. This unique state of immediate Awareness can only be discovered within oneself.

  • Appearances may be diverse, but there is still a general view or primal Awareness, wherein viewing variations of sameness liberates differences.

  • The following Spiritual Practices will mature and complete the ‘Outer Ati-Yoga Circle’ so that one can gain entrance into the ‘Inner Ati-Yoga Circle:’

    (1) Give up ‘notions’ of right or wrong, and do not speak words to offend or to please.

    (2) Shape, color, and sound make things appear differently. See through the external quality of things to realize the same underlying structure beneath all things.

    (3) Maintain a spiritual stance of awareness in the face of others and conditions of involvement.

    (4) Procure a spiritual place within one’s heart, and stand in commitment to it. Such a place can be recognized by equanimity and openness.

    (5) Discover the balanced state that is neither too happy nor excited.

    2. The Inner Ati-Yoga Circle matures – In the state of immediate Awareness, we directly discover that all our visions, comprised of tiny spheres of rainbow light one sees in meditation and in life, are actually arising from within oneself. This awareness is what makes it possible to remain in the meditative state even when a practice session is concluded, because the illumination of this non-dual state remains in awareness.

  • Study and application of 100 secret formulas; ‘secret’ meaning oral Teachings, and thusly recognizing that all life situations can be formulized for clarity.

  • This includes awareness of our vision of developing experiences, as well as our realization of Primal reality that underlies our experiences. Primal reality is relative to the existence of karma as a 'mover' of action.

  • In such a state of intrinsic Awareness, we directly discover how we have manifested ourselves.

  • When one sits quietly and becomes drowsy, they enter oblivion. Instead, when sitting quietly, look for potential. The quiet or pause has meaning to it, but one cannot find the meaning with words or thoughts.

  • There are three validating Ati-Yoga experiences:

    1. When one sits quietly, one’s spirit enters into openness, and then people are heard talking but it is as though they are far away, like echoes, yet they are clearly understood.

    2. In the midst of inner quiet, the eyes blaze with light, filling one’s presence with light until one’s body feels invisible within it. One then knows what to do.

    3. In the midst of quiet energy, the body becomes smooth like silk. If one doesn’t destroy the feeling by becoming distracted, the energy will seem to soar upward, out of which will be produced an altered all-pervasive state.

The following Ati-Yoga Spiritual Practices will mature and complete the ‘Inner Ati-Yoga Circle’ to gain entrance into the ‘Secret Ati-Yoga Circle.’

    (1) Through discovery of the secrets of the first practice on giving up ‘notions,’ one practices that there is no barrier between what is inside and what is outside; that distinctions appear superficial, through which one learns that, from collapsing differences, one can ride upon the wind, or perform non-ordinary feats of power.

    (2) Through discovery of the secrets of appearances, one practices oneness with things and learns that, in merging with them, no harm can come from them.

    (3) Develop the ‘same’ state of mind for all endeavors; therefore, one’s aim is perfected.

    (4) See only from one’s commitment to experience 'its' great heights.

    (5) Explore and accept the natures of the six realms of ‘beings’ so that one may walk freely among them.

    3. The Secret Ati-Yoga Circle matures – One’s confidence becomes like a vast treasury, a mind treasury, filled with one’s personal experiences and validations with regards to one’s nature – past, present, and future, which is intrinsic Awareness.

Since light and its conditions of existence are realized, whatever one desires to know, one knows. All existence becomes integrated within one’s Awareness; thus, the powers of manifestation are at hand, including the capacity to bring the physical elements under one’s command. And there is concrete experience with respect to liberation, which elaborates one’s confidence to become like space dissolving into space, or into the nature of ultimate Reality, like emptiness being liberated by emptiness.

The Prime Directive of Ati-Yoga as HÜMÜH:

All life revolves around the presence of the Trans-Historical Consciousness.

Therefore, the following protocols are set forth to shine light on the right conduct to be lived within the heart of every student, regardless of where they live in proximity of the Wisdom Master, even in distant countries. Right conduct brings clarity to the Doctrines of Ati-Yoga as HÜMÜH.

    Protocols

    • All life revolves around the presence of the Wisdom Master. The presence of the Wisdom Master is held in mind to function as the spirit of all thought, words, and actions. In this way, one will become familiar with primal reality.

    • Anything the Wisdom Master asks of a student should be carried out until there are no signs nor nuances of it being undone.  If one is told to purify the air, then the air should be purified until it has no unnatural odors or debris to it. In this way, one will become familiar with Purity.

    • Anything that limits (ideas, and conditions as well as limiting attitudes and opinions) must be put aside. In this way, conditions of Mind will dissolve like ice melting into water.

    • In order to accomplish the above protocols, one must live quietly in body and mind, and also speak and act with purpose.
